Projects and Events in Chichester

Uniting local stakeholders, researchers, professionals, and residents to tackle Chichester’s built and natural environment challenges and unlock new opportunities. This Chichester Laboratory brings together members of the community, researchers from leading universities, policymakers, companies, thinkers, and utility firms to address real-life research questions in Chichester, a coastal town and Europe’s largest coastal realignment site.

 

It attempts to explore solutions to the multiple challenges the town faces from effects of climate change to lack of affordable housing, to reversing the decline in biodiversity. Our long-term aim is to provide courses for the community and visiting academics and research programs, thereby further reinvigorating the town.
